COLOURS OF INSPIRATION

 HYE everybody, on 11 and 12 september , KBM112 5C had done our innovation project which is bring 30% for our carry marks for Creative and Critical Thinking subject. We had many valuable experience. From this event, we be more cooperate each other. We all such one big family . Love this moment very much. For us, we feel that this event such a perfect event for our innovation project. Besides, we can show our proud to be Malaysian because the "Colours of Inspiration" need a palm print on the Malaysian flag. Our flag is about 40 meter n width is 3 meter . On friday (13 september) , media which is from New Straits Times have come to UiTM Kedah to get a report about our flag for their paper . After that, we hang the flag on fence. Okay, thats all we can tell you for now. Just see the picture and see our pic with smile everytime. ^__^ <3 <3 <3

WHY CREATIVE AND CRITICAL THINKING IS IMPORTANT...?

Are you familiar with the terms of "CREATIVE THINKING" and "CRITICAL THINKING"..? If you don't, let us tell you what it is and how it will effect our life..

Creative Thinking 

• It can be defined as blending different elements to form a new and unique entity.
• In simple words we can say that it is a combination of ideas to become a useful ideas to everyone.
• Each one of us can be creative thinker as long as they willing to think outside the box.
• It is IMPORTANT because it just about imagination, but also problem solving.
• For example, when a kid has problem, they will imagination first before they solve it.
• The habit is naturally become our habit when we grow up.

Critical Thinking

• It can be defined as the ability to think clearly and rationally.
• In other word, we can say that critical thinker can think clearly and rationally with out being disturb by other factors to make something.
• It is IMPORTANT because we can understand our ideas more than usual and think about it logically.
• Other than that, it also will help us not to judge something just based on what we heard or saw but think about it until the surface of the issue.
• Lastly, it can improve our social institutions.

S.C.A.M.P.E.R. technique

The SCAMPER technique is one of directed question to resolve a problem or meet an opportunity. SCAMPER is an acronym for seven thinking technique that help those who use them to come out with the new idea. This technique can help people come out with solution to solve a problem that they face. This technique are common with to human creative behavior that it might be more accurate to call SCAMPER.
A variation of SCAMPER includes an eighth technique and is therefore called SCAMPERR.


Substitute       -Think about substituting part of the product or process for something else.

Combine       -Think about combining two or more parts of your idea  to achieve a different   product/process. 

Adapt           - Change some part of your problem so that it works where it did not before. 

Modify         -  Think about changing part or all of current situation. Forcing yourself to come up with new ideas of working.

Purpose         - Think of how you might be able to put your current solution/product/process to other purpose, or think of what you could reuse from somewhere else in order to solve your own  idea. 

Eliminate       - Think of what might happen if you eliminated various parts of the product/process and consider   what you might do in that situation. this often leads you to consider different ways to tackle the idea. 

Reverse        -Change the direction or orientation. Turn it upside-down, inside-out, or make it go backwards, against the direction it was intended to go or be used.
               

Rearranged  - Similar to reverse, modify the order of operation or any other hierarchy involved.

                                                               BEAUTY SHAVER

The above picture is  example of scamper project that we did in class. This product is what  we did use the eight technique in scamperr project which is state like above statement. We come out the idea to make this product from the  pen knife and we changed it to be new product which is beauty shaver.

16 Techniques To Be A Good Presenter

• CLARIFY, all the information need to be more precise.
• BE ACCURATE, check your facts so that it will be useful to listener.
• BE PRECISE, make sure it is true and the idea should not be too general.
• BE RELEVANT, you should stick to the main point.
• PURPOSE, you need to know your purpose before you start to present your idea.
• IDENTIFY ASSUMPTIONS, all thinking is based on the assumptions.
• EMOTIONS, when you want to present something, you need to control your mood.
• EMPHASIZE, you as presenter need to understand others and don't just think about your self.
• IGNORANCE, you should know your own ignorance and find the right information.
• BE INDEPENDENT, do not just depend and believe what you heard and listen.
• IMPLICATIONS, think about what will happen after you make an actions first.
• BIASES, you should know and control your biases because it will muddle your thinking.
• JUDGEMENT, you should know that it is absolutely okay to be judge by others.
• CONSIDER, you need to consider what others will feel about your idea.
• CULTURAL ASSUMPTION, you should recognize it because peoples are different.
• FAIR, lastly be fair and don't selfish. make sure that it will benefit everyone.
